WEST LOOP, CHICAGO - Cruz Blanca, the upcoming brewery and restaurant from celebrity chef Rick Bayless, has been pushed back to the spring of 2016. Opening on the increasingly crowded Randolph Street, Bayless promises "a completely new concept that you've never seen before," when it finally premieres next year. [Eater Chicago]

LOS ANGELES, CA - And down goes another craft brewery, this time LA's Golden Road Brewing, which today announced that it would complete a buyout from Anheuser-Busch by the end of the year. This continues a trend we wrote about last week and marks the fifth craft brewery swept up by AB since 2011. [Brewbound]

DETROIT, MI - The Motor City is getting its first craft beer store? How it's taken this long for Michigan's biggest city to give its residents a go-to spot for good beer is unknown, but 8 Degrees Plato, opening in Midtown, sounds like a must visit on your next trip to Detroit. [Midland Daily News]

WEST LOOP, CHICAGO - If you attended Goose Island's 312 Block Party last weekend, you may have noticed a giant sign on a nearby building proclaiming "Like Minds Brewing."
