DryHop Brewers in Lakeview is celebrating their first anniversary with the launch of the DHB Beer League. The $30 yearly signup fee includes, among other things, a free growler, a custom glass, a take home mug, and enrollment in their loyalty program. Make sure you get there early as space is limited to fifty people.

Temperance Beer Company (who's Gatecrasher we just named as our June Beer of the Month), has announced they'll be starting beer tours this Saturday. Hop on the Red/Purple lines to Evanston to check our their beautiful space.

Firestone Walker has announced that it will be phasing out its contract programs which includes the Trader Joe's in-house brand, Mission St. Los Angeles brewery Golden Road will be picking up the slack with their new, Trader Joe's only brand, Ol' Burro. They will produce three brews, all in four packs of 16oz cans.

California based Brewery The Bruery announced they are forming a new brand called Bruery Terreux (Earthy Brewery). The new branch will focus solely on farmhouse-style ales fermented with wild yeasts as well as oak-aged sour ales. Hopefully this will help them improve their notoriously bad contamination track record.
